Photoionization Detector (PID)
Photoionization Detectors (PID) are handheld instruments that measure and display the combined concentration of a range of common VOCs in the air. One number represents the total of measured VOCs expressed as equivalents to the calibration gas. PIDs are used for environmental screening, sampling, regulatory compliance,
confined space entry, Haz-Mat
respopnse, and general worker safety.
