We have improved the field-friendly Equilibrator™ Passive Diffusion Sampler
by welding the protective black mesh to the fill nozzle. The mesh is now firmly locked in place
and does not slide over the end of the fill nozzle when the user is pressing the plug into the
fill port.
This allows the user a firmer grasp of the sampler, saving time and reducing water
spillage during filling. The protective mesh is an integral part of the Equilibrator™. It reduces
abrasion of the semi-permeable membrane and securely supports the full membrane during installation
and retrieval to make your sampling event easy, low cost, and successful.
